"By tackling the 'function x aesthetics' equation they have produced a desirable collection"

LUMO innovate beyond classic British outerwear and produce a range of cycle-centric apparel.

For those of us who cycle on a regular basis being seen when the sun goes down is paramount to a safe ride. This often means carrying lights and a change of undesirable clothing. Fortunately British couple Doug Bairner and Lucy Brown have come up with a logical solution in the form of LUMO, a new kickstarter product. By tackling the 'function x aesthetics' equation they have produced a desirable collection in the form of the Harrington jacket, Camden Polo and Bermondsey backpack. Constructed using the finest Gabardine Cotton twill, bonded chambray and Schoeller® 3XDRY® technology, each garment is a functional piece of performance sportswear hidden behind contemporary styling.

All pieces from the collection incorporate ultra bright LED lights which are visible from up to 400 meters from other road users. Powered by a removable USB-rechargeable battery located within the inside pocket the lights remain in the garment, being fully waterproof they will withstand regular soaking through rain or washing.

At APxpress we are pleased to develop and produce all the branded trims associated with this innovative collection.
