APXPRESS - The Group
Founded in 1980 by Andreas and Helen Photiou / the company formerly started trading in North London / supplying printed hang tags, woven and printed labels to the local and then thriving fashion industry. Today, apxpress has 11 global offices, including 3 production units and employs more than 240 people worldwide.
There have been no acquisitions or mergers to date / still a 100% privately owned operation, the company has grown generically from strength to strength, building its business on an unrivalled reputation for innovation and on delivering quality products on time – throughout the world.
London remains the headquarters for the group and apxpress London is where Branding comes to life – where it takes form, through thought, research, design and innovation – so that when we have delivered our masterpieces – they work and sit beautifully with the garments they were made for.
Our design team consults seasonally with some of Europe’s most forward thinking apparel designers, listening, learning and developing branding that is more than ‘just a label’.
There are no ‘No’s and No excuses at apxpress / we love our work and we love that our customers love our product – we thrive for the challenge – be it to develop a button or a badge, a hang tag or simply a beautiful woven label – if our customer wants it, we make it.
The group operates a single management system – streamlining all aspects of production through to delivery. Customers are able to monitor their production and deliveries by logging onto our 'apxonline' ordering system.
When we deliver a product, we make sure it works / our technicians are available to install and assist at factory level, ensuring that our product is applied to the garment correctly and in the safest way possible.

Great branding is more than just the Graphics, it’s more than just using the right Materials, using the Seasons’ Colour Palettes or the Placement of a label / great branding is all of these fundamentals & more!
We’re endlessly sourcing for fresh ideas, often revivals of the past and sometimes ideas from our image of the future / we source inside and outside the industry - our last sourcing trip took us to faraway places such as Japan, HK, China, Russia, India, the US and closer to home in Italy, France, Germany and finally, back to London.
Following on from the initial customer brief, we will offer a number of workable choices in fabrics, materials, finishes, techniques, styles and trends / all pre-sourced, tried and tested for quality and availability / giving our customer a truly global library of branding and packaging concepts.
In addition, we develop pre-seasonal ranges for Denim, Casual Wear, Sports and Active, Children’s, Women’s and Men’s boutique.
Once our customer has handed over their artwork, the ball is in our court to deliver & impress. We do this by making sure we follow the customers’ exact specifications for each item / and in addition, offer as many alternative and workable samples to select from.
On approval, we communicate every detail to our customer service teams, our production units and to our finishing, packing and dispatch depts. / we understand the final and most fundamental ingredient of great branding is delivering it on time, every time.
